About Our Business

Breastfeeding a baby is one of the most important choices a new
mother can make. We at Little Carr believe the following
statements regarding the benefits of breastfeeding:

Breastfeeding reduces rate of ear infections and upper
respiratory infections
Breastfeeding reduces chance of childhood obesity
Breast milk is the superior infant food
Breastfeeding is good for mom too....it lowers her risk of both
breast and ovarian cancer.....and helps her shed those
pregnancy pounds.

At Little Carr, our goal is to provide simple solutions for busy moms.

Being a busy mother of two I developed the Cover-Me strap out of
pure necessity. I never purchased a shawl or nursing cover as I
felt that it just took up room in my diaper bag and was one more
thing I would need to wash!

Anyway, one afternoon I was nursing my daughter at a park and
just couldn't manage to keep her blanket draped over my shoulder.
I shoved the corners of the blanket under my bra straps in an
attempt to lock it in place to keep us covered, but it wouldn't stay
put. I was fidgeting and my daughter was growing ever more
frustrated when I thought.....why isn't there a strap to keep blankets
in place? And there it happened -- the Cover-Me strap was
created!
